Dr. Rafael Quintanar | Dentists in Quincy, Cambridge, and Saugus, MA | Lux Dental

Dr. Rafael Quintanar

Dr. Quintanar (or Dr. Q for short) was born and raised in Dallas, TX before moving up to New England for college. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at Harvard College and fell in love with Boston living. After working for a year at Harvard in an administrative role, Dr. Q completed his dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He truly enjoyed learning not only the technical aspects of the profession but also how to provide quality care to address his patients’ needs, and working with them to achieve their dental health goals.
When he is not working in the Cambridge and Quincy offices, Dr. Q enjoys figure skating and following skating competitions, singing with a community chorus, reading as many books as he can fit on his shelves, and watching late-90s TV shows on Netflix.
